Kasattri is not simply a women’s sportswear brand. Kasattri is a mindset, a lifestyle, a community. When you buy Kasattri, you become a part of a worldwide community of women who have made a promise to themselves to create a better, stronger version of themselves and support each other in their journey.
What does Kasattri mean?
The Kasattri female fightwear collection was inspired by brave 18th-century Siamese sisters, Chan and Mook. When the Burmese attacked their town on the island of Phuket, the Heroines dressed up in soldiers’ uniforms and ordered the women of the island to do the same and take positions on the Thalang city walls.
The sisters led the fights against the Burmese and repelled the invasion. After that, the king rewarded Mook with honorific title as Thao Si Sunthon (ท้าวศรีสุนทร), and Chan as Thao Thep Kasattri (ท้าวเทพกระษัตรี).
This is the fighting spirit that our collection represents, this fearlessness is what we would like you to feel when wearing Kasattri.
